EQS

About Us

The Euro Quality Standard (EQS) was established in 1989 in the Netherlands as an independent international accreditation body for institutional quality assessment. It serves as a comprehensive reference for evaluation and conformity assessment across the training and continuing education sectors. Rather than merely issuing accreditation certificates, we apply a rigorous auditing methodology that evaluates institutional infrastructure, the effectiveness of training materials, and the qualification of human resources.

We grant accreditation and conformity to educational institutions and training programs in accordance with the highest governance and auditing standards. Furthermore, we empower international non-governmental certification entities that evaluate personnel competence, management systems, and organizational compliance. Our evaluation criteria for training centers encompass facility infrastructure, instructor qualifications, and learning management systems (LMS).

In alignment with global developments, EQS has expanded its scope of accreditation solutions to include management systems, climate action, environmental sustainability frameworks, and carbon footprint verification (greenhouse gas management).

We are proudly an independent, non-profit organization headquartered in Europe, serving clients across more than 57 countries worldwide in compliance with international conformity assessment standards. Our strength in the global market stems from our complete autonomy—unbound by governmental appointments—enabling us to serve our partners and the public with the highest levels of transparency, technical precision, and streamlined verification processes aimed at building a sustainable and resilient future.

Our core expertise lies in evaluating service and management systems while enhancing operational efficiency through auditing solutions and advanced compliance frameworks.
